Job description

Position: Weld Planner
Location: Crane Clean Energy (PA)
Duration: One year; start ASAP

Overview: The Weld Planner position would be assisting in the potential restart of the site. This position is for a year at a time through the restart.

Qualifications:
o Possesses some background in welding/fitting, i.e., former pipe fitter or boiler maker or weld planning.
o Ability to read and understand P&ID / Isometric drawings.
o Ability to read and understand the CC-AA-501 series of procedures.
o Possesses basic understanding of the welding program regarding base materials, filler materials, joint design, WPS selection based on base metals being joined.
o Possesses basic knowledge of ASME/AWS welding codes and standards.
o Possesses basic understanding of site pipeline specs.
