Summary of Responsibilities
Support the Site Procurement Organization in the execution of local and global strategies. Work with customers/stakeholders and procurement professionals to initiate and implement customer aligned integrated category plan(s). Provide leadership as the commercial lead for assigned sourcing, selection, and management of suppliers. Actively contribute to the development and execution of the global category plans and associated projects to drive optimal value from the supply chain and implement best practices within Urenco business operations.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor?s Degree
5+ years of tactical procurement experience
3+ years supplier management experience
2+ years? experience strategic procurement
Must maintain Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) Certification or obtain and maintain Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) Certification or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
Master?s Degree
7+ years? experience in procurement/supply chain management

Work Schedule
: 9/80 professional work schedule, some nights/weekends may be required
Travel Required
: 10% of the time or less as required.
Security Clearance Requirement
: CAA Access and a L or Q level security clearance.
Emergency Response Requirements:
Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duty may be required; including being on-call (24/7) during your designated team duty week.
Work Environment
: Radiological exposure expectations of < 100 mrem/yr. General Office, Plant Production Areas. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.
Primary Functions
Sourcing/Category Management
Actively contribute to the development of Category Plans
Complete projects in accordance with strategic alliances
Share knowledge of new and modified products/services
Anticipate risks to ensure they are appropriately identified
Conduct supplier visits and surveillances
Advise/Lead on bid evaluation approach
Apply best and effective practices
Deliver projects in accordance with program & budget
Supplier Management
Develop, evaluate, and manage internal relationships...
Develop and maintain preferred supplier lists...
Ensure effective supplier management methods...
Lead supplier negotiations
Effectively resolve issues/problems with suppliers
Implement effective and sustainable supplier management programs
Contract Management
Develop, review, negotiate, and execute new contracts
Effectively manage significant and complex existing supplier contracts
Demonstrate in-depth understanding of contract terms
Continually seek ways to optimize contract values
Work with suppliers and cross functional teams
Customer Relationship Management
Develop and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders
Work with internal customers to ensure an effective, collaborative view.
Work with category leaders to ensure the category plans
Ensure that full and appropriate management information
Place contracts efficiently and timely to support plant needs
Maintain outstanding customer engagement
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Implement category and contract Key Performance Indicators
Ensure Value is properly approved and reported
Capability Development
Support the Procurement Supervisor in the professional development.
Establish Career Development Plans.
Provide evidence of Performance Improvement.

Compensation starting at: $
94807- $105341
/ year and up dependent on candidate.
