Last updated: July 15, 2026

This statement explains what information NukeWorker.com ("NukeWorker," "we," "us") collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the NukeWorker.com website and the services we operate on it, including the job board, community forums, outage schedules, photo gallery, and related tools. Our forums also publish a short forum-specific privacy notice covering the same principles for forum accounts.

If you have questions about this statement, please reach us through our contact page.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

  • Account information when you register, such as your username, email address, and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form, never in plain text.
  • Profile information you choose to add, such as your name, location, work history, and photo.
  • Job seeker information, such as resumes, cover letters, work experience, and job preferences.
  • Employer information, such as company details, contact information, and job postings.
  • Content you post, such as forum messages, gallery uploads, ratings, and messages you send through the site.
  • Communications you send us, such as support requests or abuse reports.

Information collected automatically:

  • Technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages you visit.
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

Payment information: If you purchase a paid service, such as an outage schedule subscription or an employer plan, payment is handled by third-party payment processors. Your full card number is entered on and processed by those providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To operate and provide our services, including matching job seekers with employers and delivering the forums, outage schedules, and gallery.
  • To create and manage your account and verify your identity.
  • To send you service-related messages, such as account notices, job alerts you have signed up for, and responses to your requests.
  • To maintain security, prevent abuse and spam, and enforce our terms.
  • To improve our services and understand how they are used.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

3. How We Share Your Information

  • With other users, when you choose to make information public. For example, forum posts and public profile fields are visible to others, and a resume you publish may be visible to registered employers. You control what you publish.
  • With service providers who help us operate the site, such as hosting, email delivery, payment processing, and advertising. They may access personal information only to perform services for us.
  • For legal reasons, if required by law or valid legal process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of NukeWorker, our users, or the public.
  • In a business transfer, if NukeWorker is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will notify you of any change.

4. Job Seekers and Employers

If you post a resume or profile as a job seeker, you control whether it is published and searchable. When you make it visible, registered employers may view the details you have chosen to include and may contact you about opportunities. You can edit, unpublish, or remove your resume at any time from your account.

Employers are responsible for using job seeker information only to evaluate candidates and for handling it in accordance with applicable law.

5. Cookies and Advertising

We use cookies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. Advertising shown on the site may be served by a third-party ad system, which can set its own cookies to measure and deliver ads. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies, but some features of the site may not work properly if you do.

We may collect aggregate, non-identifying statistics, such as how many users viewed a page or an advertisement, and share those aggregate figures with advertisers. This does not identify you personally.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • Marketing email: You can unsubscribe from optional emails using the link in those messages or by contacting us. Service and account emails are required while you hold an account.

  • EEA and UK residents: You have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Contact us to exercise them.
  • California residents: You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information.
