Expected salary range of $66,600 to $74,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

The Sr. Project Controls / Business Operations Analyst supports procurement, invoicing, vendor management, and administrative functions for central utility plant operations. This role partners closely with Plant Management and Corporate support functions, including Legal, Accounting, and Procurement, to execute procurement activities, monitor expense transactions, and support billing and vendor coordination activities. Support client billing coordination and related administrative activities as needed.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Support the monthly billing activities, prepare procurement documents for service providers and material vendors accurately and in a timely manner to meet internal reporting deadlines        
  • Work with business leads, including plant managers, to execute, monitor, report and record expense transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal business Legal and Accounting and Procurement teams to establish procurement relationships with vendors, suppliers, contractors.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and oversee financial management of vendor contracts.


Minimum Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or GED
  • 5-years of experience in administrative coordination, procurement support, billing, or related operational support functions.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple concurrent priorities
  • Ability to work independently, collaboratively with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with Corporate support staff in Procurement, Legal, and Accounting to complete defined business processes
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability and willingness to see projects through to completion; to meet expectations on quality and deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Customer service experience within a central plant or utility operations environment
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Associate's degree in accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience with procurement processes, vendor coordination, and expense tracking
