Expected salary range of $135,900 to $151,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for driving excellence in project controls across the Constellation fleet by developing/maintaining/enhancing processes, standards, procedures, and management tools to improve fleet project management functional area performance. Lead for project Management (PM) on tool and process enhancements, Fleet Outage Lessons Learned, Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Performance Objectives & Criteria (PO&Cs), INPO Industry Event Report (IER) responses, etc. Ensures compliance with management model controls through governance, oversight and support (including high level reporting, indicators, assessment reviews, and fleet-wide training). Primary interface for the sites as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Project Controls.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain governance /oversight for fleet Project Management; including project control policies, programs, processes and standards. Includes development and maintenance of standards, computer systems and the PM sharepoint site to support project management /controls practices, reporting and performance metrics and performance of assessments on practices.
  • Provide support to fleet Project Management in implementation and use of project management tools and Training and Reference Material (T&RMs) to support project management control practices, reporting and performance metrics
  • Support the Site PM organization effectiveness through assessments and benchmarking. Function as the SME for the project lessons learned database, risk management tools, and cost estimating tools.
  • Analyze Project Management performance gaps and develop/lead formal training to resolve departmental weakness.
  • Coach/Mentor other project controls resources, PMs and contractors on project management fundamentals.
  • Serve as the PM lead on FOLL, INPO IER responses, and other industry efforts.
  • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage)


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 8 years of related experience OR
  • Associate degree with 10 years of related experience OR
  • High School diploma/GED and 12 years of related experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
  • PMP Certification (within 18 months of starting position)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (within 18 months of starting position)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Nuclear Power Plant infield experience Project Management and/or Project Controls Experience
