· Issue, Reconcile and Order Filler Material- Enter in Codeman Welding System for inventory control
· Create labels and vacuum seal new stick rods when cabinets get low in stock.
· Issue, return and stock respirators, cartridges and adapters and send for cleaning by creating Material Delivery Request.
· Print SDS labels for the site and tool room chemical inventory
· Order Chemicals that are stocked in the tool room chemical inventory
· Perform Annual and Quarterly Chemical Inspections and document to completion through work order
· Remove any expired or unapproved chemicals and send to the Hazardous Waste Building and contact EHS personnel.
· Perform monthly housekeeping inspections and document to completion
· Issue, return and inspect M&TE
· Perform annual and pre- outage fall protection Inspections and remove any damaged from service and document to completion through work order
· Perform daily walkdowns of tool rooms/storage areas for housekeeping and safety concerns
· Bump/Calibrate 4 gas monitors for general use and security use
· Bump/Calibrate sulfur dioxide monitors for general and Chemistry use
· Bump/Calibrate hydrogen monitors
· Bump/Calibrate ammonia monitors
· Send hydrazine monitors for offsite calibration/repair – must have always at least 2 on site
· Order calibration gas for all types of monitors as needed or when expire
· Perform annual rigging storage area inspections and document to completion through work order.
· Perform inspections on all rigging and fall protection prior to placing back into inventory.
· Perform daily forklift inspections prior to use
· Perform daily motorized pallet jack inspections prior to use
· Move material as needed via stand-up forklift, motorized pallet jack or standard pallet jack.
· Perform quarterly continuity test and inspections on electrically powered tools per the color code chart and document to completion through work order.
· Set up/ tear down tables in service railroad bay for events
· Stock cups, lids, and straws for service building railroad bay water/ ice machine
· Issue and stock WBGT Heat stress meters and ensure to not exceed shelf life
· Stock and maintain electrical worker first aid kits and reorder items as they expire
· Help maintain stock for the hot tool room
· Stock all consumables, PPE, hand tools and power tools for issue from the cabinets and shelves
· Ensure all high-risk tools are labeled with the appropriate sticker
· Maintain all silica tools and equipment for issue
· Remove any wood pallets weekly from supplies coming in for inventory
· Generate work requests for any damaged tools to be repaired if repairable
· Enter tools into inventory through Indysoft Tool tracking program in the absence
· Maintain after hours / weekend tool issue logs for hot and cold side
· Sign exit paperwork for all Out-Processing individuals
· Support outage work 24/7 coverage
· Support emergent work- weekends & nights as needed by a weekly on call/ duty list (Monday - Sunday)
· Perform and document field observations in the Observation System weekly (Outage).
· Model expected personnel behaviors and technical skill; set the expectation and standards for assigned personnel and hold assigned personnel accountable to meet established expectations and standard
