Expected salary range of $82,800 to $92,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for performing entry-level technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of artificial intelligence-enabled solutions, automation, data-informed process improvements, and digital tools that support Constellation business objectives and operations. This role supports and helps accelerate the continued adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within Constellation Generation by identifying practical opportunities to apply AI, simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve worker efficiency, productivity, and consistency. The role also supports business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology partners by assisting with requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, documentation, adoption support, and ongoing improvement of AI-enabled tools in accordance with applicable safety, security, governance, regulatory, and responsible AI expectations.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Ensure AI, automation, and engineering solutions comply with applicable safety analyses, regulatory requirements, cybersecurity standards, data governance requirements, responsible AI guidance, and approved business processes.
  • Perform assigned technical activities including requirements gathering, process mapping, prompt development, solution configuration, data analysis, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
  • Support the development, deployment, adoption, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI enabled solutions, Copilot agents, workflow automations, and other digital tools that enhance business processes, support engineering functions, and advance the adoption of artificial intelligence within Constellation.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering personnel, Information Technology, cybersecurity, data governance, and compliance teams to deliver solutions that are practical, maintainable, secure, and aligned with Constellation standards.
  • All other job assignments and/or duties pursuant to company policy or as directed by management to include but not limited to: (Emergency Response duties and/or coverage, Department duty coverage and/or call out, and positions outside of department in support of outage activities etc.)


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering or related degree, OR
  • Associate's degree in computer science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Engineering or related degree with 2 years related experience, OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 4 years related experience
  • Foundational understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, including generative AI, large language models (LLMs), prompt design, automation, data quality, and model limitations.
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties

Preferred Qualifications

  • Coursework, internship, co-op, project experience involving LLMs, Python, SQL, Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Claude, Power Platform, Power Automate, data analytics, low-code solutions, or similar AI and automation tools
  • Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Azure, or related technical certifications
  • Experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to process improvement initiatives
  • Experience documenting workflows, business requirements, test results, user guidance, process improvements, or lessons learned
  • Demonstrated experience or project work applying artificial intelligence to improve productivity, reliability, decision support, knowledge management, or business process effectiveness
  • Exposure to power generation, energy, utility, industrial, or other highly regulated operating environments
