Summary of Responsibilities The primary responsibility of the Shift Manager is to maximize production in a safe and environmentally responsible manner while always seeking continuous improvement. This objective is accomplished by orchestrating numerous tasks carried out by a team of skilled workers during a specific shift while coordinating communications with maintenance, superiors and subordinates. When the Operations Manager and Deputy Operations Manager are not on site, the Shift Manager assumes full responsibility and authority over the site and all on-site management functions, including protecting the health and safety of the public, plant employees, and other personnel onsite, and preventing damage to plant equipment and structures. The Shift Manager is also responsible for the development of an assigned operating crew. The Shift Manager will perform periodic performance reviews and track performance for growth of subordinates through the Operations pipeline. Education and Experience Minimum Qualifications:
