The former Mexican Hat uranium mill site is located on Navajo Nation land 1.5 miles southwest of Mexican Hat, San Juan County, Utah. The site is northeast of the town of Halchita, Utah, which began as the housing area for the mill's employees.
The Lakeview mill site is located about one mile northwest of the City of Lakeview in Lake County, Oregon, and immediately west of U.S. 395. It is in a broad valley north of Goose Lake.
The Durango mill site is located just southwest of Durango in La Plata County, Colorado.
The site is located approximately 48 miles northeast of Casper, Wyoming.
The Salt Lake City mill site, known also as the Vitro mill site, is located south of Salt Lake City, Utah, within the metropolitan area.
