The Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant is at Netishyn in Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukraine. It was built with Soviet-designed pressurized water reactors.

Construction of Unit 1 began in 1981 and Unit 2 in 1983, while Soviet rule was in place. Unit 1 was connected to the grid on December 31, 1987. Work on Units 2 to 4 was halted in 1990 under a moratorium that followed the Chernobyl accident. Units 3 and 4, begun in September 1985 and June 1986, were not completed at that time. Unit 2 was completed after the moratorium was lifted and was connected to the grid on August 7, 2004.
