Unit 1 was connected to the grid on May 21, 1981, and entered commercial operation in December 1981. Unit 2 was connected on June 29, 1982, and entered commercial operation in March 1983. Unit 1 was permanently shut down in 2021 and Unit 2 in March 2023.
