The Lingen nuclear power plant was an early German boiling water reactor near the town of Lingen (Ems) in Lower Saxony, close to the later Emsland plant.

Construction began on 1 October 1964. The reactor was rated at about 540 MW thermal and had a separate oil-fired superheater to raise the steam temperature. It was connected to the grid on 1 July 1968 and entered commercial operation on 1 October 1968. The reactor was permanently shut down in January 1977. The plant was placed in safe enclosure in 1988, and in December 2015 the state of Lower Saxony issued the first partial permit for dismantling.
