Unit 1 was connected to the grid on May 9, 1984, and entered commercial operation on July 27, 1984. Unit 2 was connected on February 25, 1985, and entered commercial operation on May 18, 1985. Unit 1 was permanently shut down in July 2024 and Unit 2 in May 2025.
