Sanmen is a nuclear power plant site in Sanmen County, Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, China, which takes cooling water from the Shefan Channel.

Groundbreaking took place on 26 February 2008. Units 1 and 2 are Westinghouse AP1000 pressurized water reactors, the first implementation of that design. Construction began on 19 April 2009 and 15 December 2009. Unit 1 reached criticality on 21 June 2018, becoming the first AP1000 in the world to do so, and the units were connected to the grid on 30 June 2018 and 24 August 2018. Construction of the CAP1000 Units 3 and 4 began on 28 June 2022 and 22 March 2023.
