Breaker-to-Breaker Runs 2 runs
Breaker-to-breaker runs measure continuous operation between refueling outages using a cycle-adjusted threshold (90% of cycle length minus RFO duration). An active streak means the unit has been running continuously since the last refueling with no trips to 0% power.
Fort Calhoun has logged 2 breaker-to-breaker runs, continuous stretches from one refueling to the next with no trip to zero power. Its longest ran 502 days, and its runs average 485 days.

About This Site
Written by NukeWorker from public records: facts that do not change. Operator, status and capacity come from the live data elsewhere on this page. Sources: Wikipedia: Fort Calhoun Nuclear Generating Station.
Fort Calhoun Station was a single-unit nuclear plant in Washington County, Nebraska, between the towns of Fort Calhoun and Blair, beside the Missouri River on about 660 acres. The Omaha Public Power District owned it.

Construction began in 1966. The plant had a Combustion Engineering pressurized water reactor, which was first connected to the grid on August 25, 1973. In 2011, Missouri River flooding and an electrical fire in a switchgear room on June 7 kept the reactor in cold shutdown for about three years, and it returned to full power on December 26, 2013. The utility's board voted to close the plant on June 16, 2016, and the reactor was permanently shut down on October 24, 2016.
